What is Natural Weight Loss?
What is natural Weight Loss? Well, its a method of losing weight that, for want of a better description, is natural. The first post got us off on the natural way to lose weight so this will be the initial emphasis or theme of this blog.
By calling this method of losing weight natural, we mean by this that no artificial means of shedding unwanted fat are used anywhere. That means no costly and sometimes dangerous surgery, such as stomach stapling or liposuction. It means no slimming pills that come with dubious claims of effectiveness and a host of unwanted side-effects as a bonus. It means no starvation diets that are designed to deprive the body of essential nutrients and are potentially dangerous.
What natural weight loss is in our definition is losing weight by doing things that come naturally, such as eating a sensible diet while not depriving yourself of anything. It includes taking regular light exercise outdoors in the fresh air which is much more beneficial than working out in a sterile gymnasium under the harsh glare of strip lights and being forced to pace yourself in time with the relentless beat of mind numbing electronic noise that passes for music.
Natural weight loss also involves using both your body and your mind to work together to bring about a whole person approach to losing weight healthily and pleasantly, so that it becomes an enjoyable experience and one you look forward to working with. The theory behind this is that a person is far more motivated to do something when they know they’re going to enjoy doing it as opposed to something they would not like to do.
So there are some thought provoking primers as to what’s in store in this essential reading blog/website in future posts.
